Last week we gave lucky couples the chance to win a dream wedding, worth £30k. To enter, couples simply had to submit videos of themselves proposing like ‘celebrities’. 
 
Congratulations to the winner of our £30k wedding prize, Serena and Barry and to Lisa and Liam who scooped the Pink tickets via the public vote.     

To clear up any misunderstanding, each week day, from the entries received, we chose a finalist to go forward to a grand final on Saturday to win the main prize. This was explained both on our website and it was also read out on air.

On Friday we also gave the opportunity for the public to get involved and simply vote for their favourite finalist. The prize for this would be a pair of Pink tickets for the couple who registered the most votes. This was announced on Pete Snodden’s breakfast show on Friday and ran from 9.15am to 4pm.

A few people believe they were misled, but at no time whatsoever did we mention, on air or online, that the vote was connected to the grand prize. In fact, on both, we clearly stated that the finalists would be present at the grand final where the winner would be decided. It was explained on the entry page and mentioned on air that the contestants would be ‘battling’ it out on Saturday for the big prize.
